JhuWiki is a project to increase student collaboration. Its secret mission is to increase the quality of student life, but it doesn't like to admit its lofty goals in public.

People say you can have a good social life here "if you try." This is because you must invest time into finding out how to get to the Charles Theatre or finding out when open access is for your dorm.
[edit] The solution
If the small tidbits everyone knows are collected together in a way that they can be easily swished around, students will take the knowledge, share it with their friends, and refactor the information into even more useful forms. JhuWiki will try to cover many aspects of life for the greater good of the JHU population.
The idea of this is to take the energy students invest and share the knowledge they gain with the rest of the student body.
